Relegation from the league:
12-15 place of each group: possible relegation to IV Liga *
16-18 place of each group: relegated to IV Liga
* - depends on the difference between the number of II Liga teams within the group's regional span relegated to each group (0-4) and the number of teams promoted from each group to II Liga (1) as follows:
if -1: no additional relegation from the group;
if 0: 15th placed team is also relegated to IV Liga;
if 1: 14th-15th placed teams are also relegated to IV Liga;
if 2: 13th-15th placed teams are also relegated to IV Liga;
if 3: 12th-15th placed teams are also relegated to IV Liga.

Promotion to the league:
16 teams from IV Liga

Promotion and relegation of II teams:
II teams cannot be promoted.
If any of them finishes on a promotion play-off spot, the next best team in the respective group's final table promotes instead.
II teams are to be relegated regardless of their league position if their first team gets relegated to III Liga.
In such case and if the II team is above the relegation zone, the best placed team in the group's relegation zone keeps its place in III Liga instead.
